Specialties

Anxiety: Whether it’s generalized worry, specific fears, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, intrusive thoughts, or panic attacks, we will work together utilizing knowledge and awareness of neuroscience, along with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure-based approaches to help restore confidence and empowerment.

Shame: People-pleasing habits? Difficulty saying no? Feeling resentful and irritable? Reluctance asking for help? Together, we will work to help you “take up space”, stop feeling small, and recognize where change is necessary to improve your relationship with yourself and others.

Perinatal Mental Health: Adjustment to parenthood is perhaps one of the biggest changes one can navigate. This often comes with new fears, and changes in roles, freedoms, and relationships. With expertise in postpartum anxiety, depression, OCD and adjustment, we will help you to reconnect with yourself, restoring confidence and joy.

Loss and Grief (including Perinatal): Loss of what was. Loss of what you thought would be.

You are not alone. Together we will sit with the impacts of loss and grief and work toward acceptance, making meaning, and recreating a sense of purpose that incorporates and honors your grief journey.

Relationship Stress/Interpersonal Conflict: Do you crave a secure attachment, mutual trust, effective communication and the ability to repair your connection? Individual counseling can foster the security and healthy patterns you’re wanting in your relationships with others, helping you to understand and improve underlying insecurities, negative influences from past dynamics and unhelpful habits.
